Mantua Youth Baseball and Softball Hosts Opening Day Ceremonies

Saturday, April 6 was the Opening Day for both Mantua Little League and the Sewell Raildogs Baseball and Softball.
We would like to recognize PJ Nerozzi, President of the Sewell Raildogs, along with the rest of those involved in setting up their spectacular ceremony. Mayor Bob Zimmerman threw out the first pitch, and Mantua Township Police Department’s Captain Bill Murphy filled in as his catcher. Committeemen John Legge and Shawn Layton also showed their support at the event.
For Mantua Little League, a big thank you goes out to President Jack Steen and the entire board involved in setting up this outstanding event. Both Mayor Zimmerman and Deputy Mayor Pete Scirrotto had the opportunity to throw out the first pitches and show their promotion of the league.
Again, a big thank you to those who made both ceremonies a day to remember for all the kids involved. We wish the best of luck in the upcoming seasons!
