Department Overview

The Tax Collector’s Office processes the billing and collection of all property taxes and acts as the collecting agency for numerous governmental bodies, including the Mantua Twp Public School District, Clearview Regional School District, Mantua Twp. Fire District, and County of Gloucester.

Mantua Township Property Taxes

  • Tax bills are mailed once a year.
  • Failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt you from paying taxes or the interest due on delinquent taxes.
  • There is a 10 day grace period. If the 10th day falls on a weekend/holiday, the grace period extends to the next business day.
  • Tax Payments can be made in person or by mail via cash or check. Credit Payments can be made only by utilizing the “ Pay Your Taxes Online” under the Quick Links to the left of your screen.

Payment Drop Box and Drive Thru Window

As a convenience to our residents, a payment drop box is located next to the drive thru window at the Municipal Building. This secure box can be utilized to leave payments and correspondence. We also have a drive up window which residents can utilize during normal business hours.
