The Tax Collector’s Office processes the billing and collection of all property taxes and acts as the collecting agency for the Mantua Township Public School District, Clearview Regional School District, Mantua Township Fire District, and County of Gloucester.

Property Tax Due Dates

Important: Tax bills are mailed once a year. Failure to receive your bill does not remove your responsibility to pay taxes or late interest.

Taxes Are Due Quarterly:

  • August 1
  • November 1
  • February 1
  • May 1

Grace Period: 10 days (extended to next business day if deadline falls on a weekend/holiday)

Payment Options

  • In Person: Cash, check, money order, or credit card
  • By Mail: Check or money order
  • Online: EFT, Credit, or Debit Card (subject to fees)
    • When making an online payment and locating your property, please enter only one (1) of the required fields (e.g., search by Name and/or Address, or search by Block/Lot/Qualifier, or search by Account ID.

Convenient Payment Locations

  • Secure Drop Box – Located along side the drive-thru window at the Municipal Building (available 24/7)
  • Drive-Thru Window – Open during normal business hours for quick, contactless service

Tax Exemptions & Deductions

Mantua Township offers several property tax exemptions and deductions for qualifying residents. For detailed information regarding eligibility for tax exemptions and deductions, please contact the Mantua Township Tax Collector.

Disabled Veteran Exemption Property tax exemption available for qualifying disabled veterans.

Senior/Disabled Tax Deduction Property tax deduction for eligible senior citizens and disabled persons.

Veteran Tax Deduction Property tax deduction available for qualifying veterans.
