Grass and Vegetative Waste
Pickup begins in March. Please refer to the Township calendar for specific dates.
✅ Placement Guidelines:
- Grass clippings and garden debris should be placed inside the GREEN cart for pickup.
- After grass pickup ends, vegetative waste (including garden debris and grass clippings) may also be placed curbside with your leaves.
Branches and Brush Collection
The Township brush crane will make rounds during non-bulk weeks in the spring, summer, and fall.
Please note: Tree stumps will NOT be collected.
✅ Placement Guidelines:
- Place brush parallel with the road in the street where possible
- Neatly stack with cut ends together
- Leave a space between the curb and the pile to allow stormwater to run along the curbline
- Build piles high, not stretched out in a long line
❌ Avoid These Places:
- On top of water/sewer caps
- Under trees or wires that run across the roadway
- Near vehicles
Leaf Collection
Street leaf collection begins in November and continues through the end of the year weather permitting. Please check the Township calendar for exact pickup dates.
✅ Placement Guidelines:
- Do not bag your leaves — rake them loose to the curb line.
- Keep leaves free of sticks, rocks, trash, brush, or other debris that may clog or damage leaf vacuum equipment.
- Maintain a distance of at least 10 feet from storm drains and about one foot from the curb to allow rainwater to flow freely.
❌ Avoid These Places:
- Mailboxes
- Telephone poles
- Street signposts
- Fire hydrants
- Any object that may prevent collection
