Mantua Hosts Senior Picnic to Kick Off Summer

What better way to usher summer in than to host a BBQ?

Last night, the Mantua Township Recreation Committee hosted a summer senior picnic in our Municipal Building parking lot! A delicious array of hamburgers and hotdogs was grilled by Jim Kiel and served to our wonderful senior community!

Mayor Bob Zimmerman, Deputy Mayor Pete Scirrotto, and Committeeman John Legge all showed up to the event to show their support, while Captain Murphy, SLEO I Officer Rocco, and Mantua’s Police Explorers helped assist during the event!

Events like these are highlights of the year for the senior community, so a big “Thank you!” to all who support these efforts.
